push
take my bass to church
take my heart to heaven
take my pens to concerts
take bag for life to shop
take a drink of water
take care when crossing roads
take my bike to gym
take a walk around the lake
take a good long breath
take soon a gentle swim
let your eyes rest
upon the trees and hills
let other people love you
let others have their space
let a cup of tea
reward you
let your body
hear as Evelyn Glennie's does
let your ears start seeing
like the blind boy
who has taught himself to ride
and balance upon walls
be gentle with
your friends and family
still more with
strangers
knowing any may be angels
or themselves the lord
beattitudes
beautiful
benecolence
be 'me'
give way
give hope
but don't give up
and don't give in
give time a chance to heal
give time to broken pieces
give the magic you contain
to give shelter to the fragive
as you put good things back together
all the things your mind and fingers gathered jim
ha ve a happy time again
share words upon the net
share eye contact with that girl
share hope
share seeds
share drawings
instruments
share insights share both learning
and the constant give
to give others space time respect and care
to breathe in and out
and oneselfishness unlearn
receive word of all that's holy
from good sources and strange places
share the homes of everyone
own nothing
let go
to understand and to discern
share time
a cuppa with another
passing strangers do befriend
receive their lives
their stories gifts
their present moment
unwrap the receiving
both look outwards
receive others to the
open fold
don't wrap
or close
or cul de sac
not the end f the
receiving life divine

donkey self
who stubbornly
gave in to being buried
push such thoughts and enslavery away
push no litter
in the letterbox
of ocean tide r sea
deliver snail mail by hand
push the keys before you
be they mobile phone
keyboard
or c.d
push away all judgements
push
give birth
you have a new life now
push the foul stuff into
compost heaps
and potters fields

present faith
dip my fingers
just like baby steps
baptised sacrimental every minim crotchet quaver semibreve and humble hemi semi demi reminder
that the measure slips and slides to heartbeating not by effort
