Transition Town Eco Share

Last Monday it was great to see hear a well prepared Simon Wallis Bike  It officer

with humour and bright delivery and an array of wonderful devices delivering an
empowering ,entertaining cheerful yet serious presentation on alternative sustainable intelligent

and efficient ways of cooking ,cooling, heating and enlightening without plug sockets
which he described as unseen and taken for granted servants

his speech contained a variety of insight rolled on a piece of copper piping and gleaned from Bill Bryson truth grain harvestings. And the old Unitarian church building in Brookdale Gardens provided a recycled charm of its own.
A refrigerator could be produced from two plant pots with a lining between of soggy sand or paper

or plaster board soaked in the sleeve of a cardboard box.
